Recently, in Bangalore, known as the "Silicon Valley of India" on the Deccan Plateau, the Yellow Line trains of Bangalore Metro Phase 2, equipped with HUAQI Intelligent's onboard PIS system, were officially inaugurated. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the ceremony to unveil the Yellow Line.
The Yellow Line connects RV Road (Ragigudda) to BSK Station (Bommasandra), linking key business, technology, and educational hubs, including Basavanagudi and Electronic City. This line provides convenient transportation for professionals commuting to Electronic City, significantly reducing travel time between residential areas and the industrial zone, benefiting hundreds of thousands of tech workers. Modi described it as a "milestone in transforming commuting."
The Yellow Line trains were jointly manufactured by Titagarh and CRRC (China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation). After the rollout ceremony of the first train at CRRC's factory, Bangalore Metro Project Manager Mr. Jha and his delegation visited HUAQI for an on-site inspection and exchange. HUAQI Intelligent's advanced smart transportation system solutions, clean and standardized production environment, and highly integrated project test platform made a strong impression on the Indian delegation.
